Save Email as PDF combines the email text and supported attachments you select into one PDF, with optional compression. Keep your message and documents together without combining files by hand.

Include the email text and selected attachments in one PDF you can archive or share. You can also convert attachments without the email text.
Tick exactly what belongs in the PDF. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images and existing PDFs are all merged in place.
Optional compression downsamples images and re-encodes photos to reduce file size. Results depend on the source files; review the output and switch compression off when you need to preserve image detail.
In Outlook, choose the quoted thread or latest reply. In the Gmail preview, choose the current message or Whole conversation, with selected attachments after the message that carried them.
Unsupported attachments are clearly flagged and left out, so you always know exactly what is in your PDF.
Files are processed over HTTPS solely to build the PDF, output is deleted automatically within 24 hours, and download links expire after 30 minutes.
Verify your Outlook mailbox using an email sign-in link. No password or separate account setup is required.
Get it from Microsoft Marketplace, or search for it under Get Add-ins in Outlook. It is a modern web add-in, so there is nothing to install on your machine.
Click "Save as PDF" while reading an email. Verify your mailbox with an email sign-in link when prompted. Choose the whole thread or the latest message, then tick the attachments you want merged in.
Click "Merge to one PDF" and wait for the result. Download the merged PDF when it is ready. Compression is optional.
The Gmail add-on is in release preparation and is not publicly available in Google Workspace Marketplace yet. These steps apply to users with preview access.
Opening the add-on reads the message to prepare your choices and checks your account allowance. Selected content goes to our conversion service only when you choose to convert. Read the privacy policy or get Gmail help.

The new Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web, classic Outlook for Windows (Microsoft 365) and Outlook for Mac, with a Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com mailbox. Outlook mobile is not supported.
Printing gives you the message only, and legacy COM-based "print to PDF" add-ins no longer run in the new Outlook. This merges the email and its attachments into one ordered file instead.

Outlook accepts up to 20 MB of selected content. The Gmail preview limits a selection to about 12 MB and a conversation to 50 messages. Follow the limit shown in the app and select fewer attachments when needed.
